Unofficial concept images of the Yamaha YZF-R3 are completely newly designed Julak Sendie Design posting on Instagram immediately attracted a lot of attention from the biker community. Although not the official design image of the YZF-R3 from Yamaha, but this latest render is loved by many people because of its similar appearance to the R6.
In recent times, a lot of news and rumors have been constantly circulating on the Internet regarding Yamaha’s all-new YZF-R3 development project. These rumors are completely grounded when the Ninja ZX-25R or CBR250RR is creating a fever in the 250cc sportbike segment. Meanwhile, there is a high possibility that Yamaha will soon develop a completely new model YZF-R3 to compete with the “compatriot” ZX-25R and CBR250RR.
When information related to the Yamaha YZF-R3 is quite small, the designer Julak Sendie Design just suddenly uploaded the renderings to predict the design of this brand new sportbike. It is known that this Yamaha YZF-R3 design render is Julak Sendie Design thanks to a number of reliable sources from Indonesian media.
It can be seen that the front set of the Yamaha YZF-R3 possesses a sharp and powerful design, inspired by the R6 and R1 brothers.
The headlights are similarly designed to be slimmer and significantly smaller than the current version. YZF-R3 may also receive a new smaller fairing with Deltabox frame, instead of the current steel tube.
Next is the fuel tank with a modern design and some muscular highlights that seem to be the interference with the new version R6. The rear end is renewed with the “R-Series” style, with a more sporty rear stroke. Lower to the bottom is the new equipment that is sturdy and bigger, quite similar to the R6. Other equipment such as telescopic front suspension with gold-plated forks, standard disc brakes, aluminum rims and tires remain unchanged from the current version.
There are a lot of rumors surrounding this new Yamaha YZF-R3, but it is highly likely that the car will still use a twin-cylinder engine incorporating a VVA variable valve system. As predicted, the completely new version of the Yamaha YZF-R3 is likely to be launched in late 2021 or early 2022.
