Under 15 billion, choose Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari 488 or McLaren 650S Spider Review

Under 15 billion, choose Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari 488 or McLaren 650S Spider

Not long ago, we brought you three high-performance sports cars with a price of 20 – that are worth buying at the moment and of course, those are their new selling prices. However, with the aforementioned amount, even lower, only about 15 -, you can easily buy used super cars. At the moment, the three most prominent cars in this segment are the Lamborghini Huracan (LP610-4, LP580-2), Ferrari 488 GTB (Spider) and McLaren 650 Spider.

It is a difficult choice, especially when all three of these supercars are popular names and also possess certain advantages. Let’s take a look at what these cars are better than your competitors and what is the best car for you before you pick one of these cars home.

On the outside, perhaps the Lamborghini Huracan will be the most impressive name. Out of all three, the Huracan is the car with the most aggressive and angular design, it can look good with any package and is also a magnet that attracts the eye every time you go down the street.

Ferrari 488 GTB (Spider), although not too aggressive and angular like its rivals, still has characteristic supercar lines. Ferrari still carries its own beauty, nostalgic beauty and very distinctive Ferrari lines throughout the history of this brand.

Unlike the two models above, McLaren’s design is not too focused on the bunker and heavy on historical elements, this car company has brought up the 650S Spider with the most aerodynamic appearance possible. While it might not look good on the car, the 650S Spider’s exterior is the simplest way to keep the airflow through the car.

There must be some reason Ferrari gave 488 the name GTB – Grand Tourismo Berlinetta. Berlinetta in Italian refers to supercars, sports cars with spacious and comfortable interior compartments and 488 is such a car. The interior of the Ferrari 488 GTB is surprisingly spacious. When you sit in the 488, you won’t feel as cramped and claustrophobic as on the Huracan and won’t be as cramped as the 650S.

The Ferrari 488 is also a supercar with good viewing angles and less obscure than the Huracan. In this regard, only the McLaren 650S Spider has a better viewing angle than this model. However, the interior compartment of the two above models will not be as aggressive as the rival from the bull-run brand. McLaren 650S Spider inherits the same interior compartment as on the McLaren P1, a monocoque frame made of carbon fiber, although it will give you a cramped feel, but it will ensure the safety possible for the passengers inside.

The Huracan’s cockpit isn’t focused on comfort, it feels like a pilot. Every button, every detail of this interior is cared for with the theme of the aircraft cockpit. The seats are comfortable but not too wide, along with the optional tighter sports seats for a better experience. All three models are oriented towards the driver instead of being divided equally by both.

Engine – Performance

In this regard, my first pick will probably be the Lamborghini Huracan. Although the car does not have the powerful turbocharged engine like the McLaren 650S Spider and Ferrari 488 GTB (Spider). However, the Huracan’s naturally aspirated V10 engine block still provides 601 hp and 560 Nm of torque. The dual-clutch gearbox takes the car less than 3 seconds to reach speeds of 100 km / h. And of course, since it’s the internal combustion engine, there won’t be any lag when you get off the gas.

In the battle of guys using turbocharged engines, Ferrari was somewhat out of place compared to McLaren when the 488 GTB was the company’s first car to use this engine after nearly 30 years and the car company came from the UK. up to two models using this engine before the 650S. However, the car’s engine is also very impressive as it has won many prestigious international awards consecutively. The 488’s twin-turbocharged V8 engine has a capacity of 3.9 liters, producing a maximum capacity of 670 horsepower and a maximum torque of 760 Nm. Ferrari 488 takes 3 seconds to reach 100 km / h.

While not winning impressive awards like Ferrari’s V8, the twin-turbocharged V8 engine on the McLaren 650S Spider is one of the fastest and most responsive engines in this segment. This engine block still produces a maximum capacity of 641 hp and 678 Nm of torque.

We have here the three most powerful and impressive cars, not only in its segment but also in the car world. They will almost bring the same driving experience and experiences when they both possess the ability to operate almost the same, dual-clutch transmission, can accelerate to 200 km / h in less than 10 seconds. However, each car is a little different.

When driving a Ferrari or McLaren, especially in street mode, it will give you a feeling of luxury, quieter than other modes. Ferrari offers the 488 series five driving modes, including two special modes that, when you enter, will not have any technology to assist you, McLaren will allow you to 3 driving modes. In the highest mode, all three models will still give you the feeling of pure supercars, the sense of speed and the precision of each steering angle.

Unlike the two competitors using turbocharged engines, the naturally aspirated V10 engine block on the first Huracan will give you an audio experience that the other two turbochargers can’t have. Next, each time you accelerate, the bjan will feel the instantaneous power. Although not as strong as the Ferrari 488 GTB (Spider) or McLaren 650S, 601 hp will not be too different from 641 hp or 670 hp on the two competitors in the same segment.

On the current car market, the Ferrari 488 GTB (Spider) owns the most diverse price range. With only about 7 – to 8 -, you can probably have it with a 3-year license plate deadline. McLaren 650S Spider is currently priced at about 11 – and the cheapest Huracans on the used car market are also priced at similar prices. At nearly 15 -, you will find newer Ferrari 488 GTB, Lamborghini Huracan, and indefinite license plates.
