Koenigsegg developed the Regera Direct Drive (KDD) gearbox with a single gear, connecting the crankshaft and the drivetrain.

Koenigsegg Regera currently holds the record 0 – 400 – 0 km / h. At Rada airport, Sweden, the car controlled by the test driver Sonny Persson completed a record 0 – 400 – 0 km / h in just 31.49 seconds, faster than the time that Koenigsegg Agera RS ever set. up to 2 seconds.

Koenigsegg Jesko

As the successor model of Agera, Jesko still uses a twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 1,280 horsepower when using A95 gasoline, but when using E85 biofuel, this turbocharged V8 engine produces up to 1,600 horse power. The maximum torque is achieved at 1,500 Nm at 5,100 rpm, the torque of 1,000 Nm will be stretched from 2,700 rpm to 6,170 rpm.

Koenigsegg equips the car with a new 9-speed gearbox and calls this a Lightning Speed Transmission gearbox. This gearbox uses more clutches based on the dual-clutch transmission principle, allowing gearshifts without being in order. For example, this gearbox can switch from 7 to 4 in an instant without having to go to 6 and 5.

Koenigsegg announced that they will only produce a limited 125 Jesko units with prices starting at $ 2.8 million each.

Providing power for the car is a 3-cylinder engine, a capacity of only 2.0 liters with dual turbochargers and electronic technology “Freevalve”. This tiny engine can make up to 600 hp and 600 Nm of peak torque. Adding power to the car’s engine is a system of three electric motors, generating 1,100 horsepower, bringing the total capacity of the car up to 1,700 hp and 3,600 Nm of torque.

Koenigsegg will only produce Gemera in quantities of 300 units with prices starting from $ 2 million.

SSC Tuatara

After nearly 10 years of launching the first concept, by this year, the first SSC Tuatara was finally delivered to customers. The SSC Tuatara is powered by a 5.9-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine with a rpm limit of 8,800 rpm. The American automaker also said that this engine will produce 1,350 horsepower if 91-octane gasoline is used. The engine of the SSC can use E85 gasoline and with this the car engine can produce a maximum output of up to 1,750 horsepower.

Hennessey Venom F5

Venom F5 is the successor to the Venom GT, the name F5 is taken from the highest level in the tornado scale – F5 – often used to evaluate tornado speeds from 418 km / h – 512 km / h. This name partly demonstrates the goal of breaking the record 300 miles / h (483 km / h) that Hennessey set for this super car.

To do this, Hennessey developed a twin-turbocharged V8 with a capacity of 7.4 liters. Not stopping there, the company also wants to increase the capacity to 8.0 liters and use four turbochargers like Bugatti. This engine is expected to produce a maximum output of 1,600 hp and 1,763 Nm of torque. Vehicles will use rear-wheel drive with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
