Recently, German car brand BMW has released some more pictures of the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo 2021 model launched not long ago. These images give a more detailed look to those interested in this new generation 6 Series Gran Turismo.
BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo is produced with the 7 Series and 8 Series at the Dingolfing factory, Germany. Overall, the car remains the same size with a length of 5,019 mm, a width of 1,902 mm and a height of 1,538 mm and a wheelbase of 3,070 mm. On the exterior, the car has been designed with a number of new details, typically the iconic front grille.
The car’s full-LED headlamps are equipped with steering angular panning technology with BMW Selective Beam technology with the ability to detect the opposite vehicle when turning on the phase and matrix technology. The BMW 6 Series GT has a luggage compartment of up to 600 liters as standard and can be expanded up to 1,800 liters when the rear seats are folded.
Inside, the car has a cockpit with an infotainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and an information display instead of a similarly sized instrument cluster. Some other functions include backlight, welcome lights and Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround sound system with 16 speakers.
All engine versions of the new 6 Series GT will get BMW equipped with mild hybrid technology with 48V current. Vehicles will be sold in two versions of petrol engine and three versions of diesel engine. The first petrol engine version was the 630i GT with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 258 hp at 5,000 rpm to 6,500 rpm and 400 Nm of torque in the range. 1,550 rpm to 4,400 rpm. The higher-end 640i GT and 640i xDrive GT will use a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder engine that produces 333 hp and 450 Nm of torque. Customers can choose from three diesel versions including 620d GT, 630d GT and 640d xDrive GT. The 620d variant will be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque. For the 630d GT, which uses a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 286 hp and 650 Nm of torque, the car is sold in two versions: 630d GT and 630d xDrive GT . The top-of-the-line 640d xDrive Gran Turismo is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 340 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Vehicles capable of accelerating from 0-100 km / h in 5.3 seconds and a maximum speed of 250 km / h.
