Land Rover Defender V8 2022 is equipped with a supercharged 5.0L engine, producing a maximum capacity of 518 horsepower and maximum torque of 625 Nm.
Land Rover has officially introduced Defender using a new supercharged V8 engine. Accordingly, the “heart” of the new Defender V8 is a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine, producing a maximum capacity of 518 horsepower and maximum torque of 625 Nm. This power is enough to help the Defender 90 model accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 5.2 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 240 km / h. Defender V8 will also be available with version 110.
Combined with the powerful engine is an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Land Rover has also tweaked the Defender V8’s suspension and fitted the model with larger anti-roll bars. The car is equipped with an electronic active rear differential lock system and a new Yaw Controller system that helps increase the vehicle’s stability when cornering.
In addition, Defender V8’s Terrain Response off-road support system also includes an exclusive Dynamic function that helps the car move in off-road conditions more flexible and balanced.
In terms of exterior design, the Land Rover Defender V8 distinguishes itself from the regular version thanks to bespoke V8 badges, symmetrical dual exhaust pipes on both sides, 22-inch alloy wheels in Dark Satin Gray, and brake calipers painted in Xenon blue. There are 3 exterior paint colors, including: Gray – Carpathian Grey, White – Yulong White and Black – Santorini Black. All paint colors have a black roof – Narvik Black.
Moving into the cabin, the Defender V8 interior impresses with special Ebony Windsor leather seats and many accents of suede and super durable Robustec material. The four-spoke steering wheel also includes Alcantara trim and integrated satin chrome gearshift paddles.
Currently, the price of Land Rover Defender V8 2022 for the US market has not been announced, but the 90 version is likely to start at $85,000, while the 110 is expected to cost around $90,000.
