Officially launched in 2003, the Lamborghini Gallardo was a successful car of the Italian supercar brand at that time. By the end of its life cycle, which is 10 years after the launch of the first car, the brand had sold 14,022 units in various versions.
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is an upgraded mid-life version of the first generation Gallardo prototype. The car is “new wind” with drastic changes in exterior design as well as performance. However, instead of the original look of the LP560-4, the Gallardo LP560-4 “rare goods” in – has been upgraded with the Bodykit kit inspired by the final version of the car – Gallardo Squadra Corse.
Gallardo Squadra Corse is based on the last Facelift model of the Gallardo line. Compared to the previous two original models, this generation of Gallardo possesses a groundbreaking design of the front bumper with large air vents shaped, divided by the eye-catching floor. Instead of the seamlessly designed rear grille, the car has been separated from the grille into 3 pieces to create a shape, bringing some differences to the final Facelift model of the Gallardo line.
As the last model of the Gallardo, Squadra Corse Gallardo owns many details bearing the direction of a racing car, even very familiar on special Gallardo cars. Typically, the large spoiler or the removable carbon cover commonly found on the Gallardo Super Trofeo or the special version LP570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale.
In order for the car to have a “look” similar to the Squadra Corse Gallardo, this LP560-4 has been replaced by the front bumper, the rear bumper or the hips section. At the same time, the car has been fitted with a large spoiler as well as a removable engine cover that can be quickly opened and closed. This bodykit is very impressive with many details made with carbon material.
On the actual version of the Gallardo Squadra Corse, Lamborghini offers customers 4 different color options including Giallo Midas gold, Bianco Monocerus white, Grigio Thalasso gray and Rosso Mars red. Lamborghini only produced a mere 50 cars of this version and there are 15 cars for the US market. More specifically, all 15 cars for the US market are painted Giallo Midas yellow.
If this version of the LP560-4 initially wears a white exterior color, the owner has decided to “put on” the bright yellow car. This color is full of similarities with the American version Squadra Corse Gallardo. Compared to the original white color, this color helps the “Italian super cow” become more angular, more aggressive as well as look more aesthetically pleasing when it is put on the brand’s traditional colors.
The interior of this Lamborghini Gallardo has been covered with all Alcantara leather in black and red colors, extremely similar to the original Squadra Corse Gallardo. However, this interior compartment still has some differences with the interior of the Gallardo Squadra Corse such as the seats or the carbon material door cladding. Combined with that are some attractive carbon-clad details, making the interior compartment look sporty compared to the original interior on the LP560-4.
The car is equipped with 5 double-spoke wheels painted in glossy black from the BC Forged brand. This EH172 wheel set has a somewhat similar design to that of Squadra Corse Gallardo version. This set of wheels is up to nearly 100 million -. The car is equipped with prominent red carbon ceramic brake shackles, combined with the steel brake disc of the Gallardo LP560-4 version.
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is equipped with a naturally aspirated V10 engine with a capacity of 5.2 liters, producing a maximum capacity of 560 horsepower and maximum torque of up to 540 Nm. With this power, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 3.7 seconds and can reach a top speed of up to 325 km / h. On the Gallardo Squadra Corse version, the car uses a V10 engine block with a capacity of up to 570 horsepower and only takes 3.4 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km / h. In addition, this car has also been upgraded to the exhaust system from the Capristo brand to bring more realistic sound, more powerful for the V10 engine block of this Gallardo LP560-4.
