Hyundai’s high-performance N Line lineup is offering more and more models, spanning nearly all segments. Hyundai i20 is the latest model from Korea to launch the N Line high performance version.
The high-performance version that Hyundai brings to the i20 has a number of car-inspired details from its racing cars to increase sportiness as well as improve performance. The exterior of the car is designed according to Hyundai’s unique “Sensuous Sportiness” philosophy, combined with the lines on the upgraded i20 that was launched not long ago.
From the front, the front bumper is redesigned with a number of gray paint details that Hyundai said to help increase the sportiness of the car. The bezel-less grille is painted black with the inner meshes designed to be inspired by the checkered flag. Customers can choose from four colors for this model including Phantom Black, Aurora Gray, Polar White and Brass. Polar White paint colors are more distinctive when available with a contrasting black hood.
The rear is prominent with a new design bumpers, painted in black below. The rear lights are prominent with angled LED lines, connecting the two sides while the lower fog lights are placed in the middle, similar to racing cars. The dual tailpipes of this car are chrome plated and finally the two-tone wheels complete the sporty exterior of the Hyundai i20 N Line.
Inside the cockpit, the Hyundai i20 N Line will still get sports seats with N logo embroidered on the seat back and red contrast stitching. Some other details such as steering wheel, leather gear lever, pedals, .. are also upgraded by N. Hyundai equips the i20 N with Bluelink technology to integrate Connected Car services such as Hyundai Live Service and a number of features that can be controlled remotely via the Bluelink app.
Powering this sports hatchback is a turbocharged 1.0-liter T-GDI engine block that produces a maximum capacity of 120 horsepower. This engine will combine with a smart manual transmission (iMT) of Hyundai to transmit power to the front axle of the car. Customers can also opt for a mild-hybrid 48V drive system to make the car more fuel-efficient. To help the car perform better, the suspension, wheels and exhaust system have also been tweaked.
