Dubai in particular and the United Arab Emirates in general are always famous for the most luxurious life in the world. In addition, the police force also impresses with super cars for patrolling and chasing criminals at high speed. Recently, it was the turn of the ambulance service in Dubai to add to the quick-response lineup of two Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport and Nissan GT-R supercars.
Dubai ambulance services group recently chose two high-speed emergency vehicles, choosing speed over the spacious interior space to transport victims. As can be seen, the task for these two vehicles was not to put the patient on a stretcher and take them to the hospital. According to information from GTSpirit, these vehicles will be the first highly maneuverable fast-response vehicles to reach critical patients four to eight minutes faster than conventional ambulances. That’s what this ambulance service is, according to the report. These two high-profile cars will also be available at shared travel zones and at select sporting events.
Like the previous fleet of police cars, these two super ambulances were mainly used to promote the image of the country rather than actually being used as ambulances. However, being up to 8 minutes faster than a standard ambulance, it could save more lives. If a Corvette or GT-R can reach a person with a heart attack faster than a standard ambulance – even if it’s just an EMT with a resuscitation device – it could be the difference between life and death.
Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is a speedy sports car, capable of accelerating to 100 km / h in less than 4 seconds. The power of the car reaches a maximum of 455 horsepower, coming from a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine. Meanwhile, the Nissan GT-R uses a dual-turbocharged V6 that produces a maximum power of 570 horsepower. Vehicle uses all-wheel drive system, thanks to which it can reach a speed of 100 km / h in just 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 330 km / h. The selling price for these two models is $ 84,030 and $ 175,540 respectively.
