The first AMG GT R in – is mixed in designo® Selenite Gray Magno in special rough gray with familiar details such as golden brake shackles or unique Panamericana grille with vertical bars. This type of grille is also used in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 racing car. The front bumper of the car is redesigned with larger air vents, the lights are designed with extended led strips.

The vehicle is equipped with an intelligent rear wheel steering system, increasing flexibility when cornering, as well as outstanding stability with the rear axle extending to the sides. At speeds below 100 km / h, the rear wheel steers the rear axle in the opposite direction to the front to reduce the turning radius. If the car is going over 100 km / h, the rear wheel will drive in the same direction as the front axle to increase stability. The rear is bunker with a large fixed spoiler. The rear bumper has a large wind diffuser. The car has three exhaust pipes, in which the exhaust in the middle is the bigger size.
AMG GT R has 6 driving modes, most notably Race mode that allows users to maximize the capacity of the car. Additionally, AMG has designed an active carbon fiber wing spoiler below the front bumper. When the car is in Race mode, the spoiler will lower the angle of inclination by 40 mm at speeds above 80 km / h, increasing compression force by 40 kg when the car reaches a speed of 250 km / h.
The AMG GT R is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine with a signature “hot inside V” turbo arrangement that produces 585 hp and a maximum torque of 700 Nm in the range of 2,100. – 5,500 rpm. Combined with the ultra-fast AMG 7G-DCT dual-clutch transmission and rear-wheel drive, the AMG GT R takes just 3.6 seconds to reach 100km / h and can reach a top speed of 318 km / h. .
