After a period of “struggling” with the races across Europe to complete the fine tuning, the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport has recently been brought to the “fastest test track in the world” Nardo Ring, Italy, next to the “name ground fire ”Chiron Super Sport 300+. This is also the first time these two models have appeared together at a test center and is also the first time Bugatti has brought the Chiron Pur Sport test at high speed.

In four weeks, 37 Bugatti’s engineers will test continuously on eight different Chiron. The total distance that four Chiron Pur Sport and four Chiron Super Sport 300+ operated during the Nardo Ring time is more than 20,000 km. Vehicle operating data will be continuously checked by engineers to make changes and see what is the best result. On the same track, Bugatti has to parallel test both models designed with two completely different purposes and that is why the company chose Nardo Technical Center to do this. This test track is surrounded by a circular track of 12.6 km in length, 4 km in size. This track is tilted at an angle of 12 degrees, creating ideal conditions for the car to reach maximum speed. By design, this track is suitable for testing and testing cars with the ability to operate continuously at speeds above 400 km / h and even be able to run in circles at speeds of 240 km / h. h with the steering wheel to straighten. With this design, the centrifugal force when the car operates will be almost zero, giving the driver the feeling of running in a straight line.

Inside, the Nardo test site owns a 6.2 km track, suitable for the development of more race-oriented cars. In addition, the inner ring roads can be customized with a total of different lengths of up to 70 km.

Here, we can improve the performance of the Chiron Pur Sport and the Chiron Super Sprot 300 + at a variety of speeds and temperatures, ”said Stefan Ellrott, Head of Product Development at Bugatti. “Our super sports cars will have to perform perfectly in normal speeds and conditions as well as at speeds above 300 km / h and under extreme operating conditions.”

Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport is the first car that Bugatti launched towards superior performance on the track. In order to develop the best car, this super car company has brought it to many races across Europe in recent times, including the famous Nurbugring. “We have consistently developed the Pur Sport with excellent grip so it can conquer corners as quickly as possible,” explains Jachin Schwalbe, Head of chassis division at Bugatti. “The car’s durable chassis gives it incredible grip. Chiron Pur Sport is still equipped with the familiar 8.0-liter W16 engine with a maximum capacity of 1,500 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque. Bugatti Chiron will be produced limited to 60 units worldwide, the starting price of each car will be at 3 million Euro.

As for the Chiron Super Sport 300+, this is Bugatti’s fastest and most powerful car with a power of up to 1,600 horsepower and a maximum speed that the car can achieve is 490,479 km / h. “During development, we use brand-new thermal components and gearboxes, along with tweaking and software upgrades for the drivetrain, gearbox, engine and regular turbocharger. , ”Shared Christian Mohr. To ensure safety, the car can only run a maximum of 300 km / h in this test and will be able to run faster in the next run.

In the commercial version, the car will be limited to a maximum speed of 483 km / h. Production of the car will be limited to 30 units with a sales price of 3.5 million Euro each. The first Chiron Super Sport 300+ will be delivered to customers by the end of 2021.
